My life began to change after my very first conversation with Wendy. She shared the story of her awakening, and the part that I couldn’t get out of my mind was the message that it’s time for us to fulfill our true purposes—that there’s some urgency to do this now.
The second message she received—and kept reminding me about in later conversations—is that we’re all connected and dearly loved and cared for, so there’s no need for worry or fear. She also talked about how limiting beliefs hold us back, about savoring life in the moment, and about how the stuff we call suffering is just the contrast that allows us to recognize and choose joy.
None of this was new to me, but somehow, Wendy’s passion for these ideas allowed them to take root, and I began incorporating them fully into my life, not just as ideas, but as practices. I was already happy, healthy, fully engaged in the outer world and at peace in my inner world. But now I’m soaring.
I’ve dropped the belief that you can’t make a living writing novels, and I just finished chapter five of my next book. I began living in total trust that all my needs would be met and got more potential new business for my company in one month than in the last four years combined. I’m doing a really fun work-out three times a week and enjoying the physical sensations of getting back into shape. Seeing a sunset or rainbow is no longer just looking at a pretty scene, but a celebration of awe and wonder.
Wendy is truly an instrument of transformation. You already have wings. Wendy simply provides some wind beneath them.
